ID card printers have the capability to print any design that is sent to the printer, similar to a regular paper printer. The ID software that is linked to the printer enables the creation and printing of barcodes. The Easy Badges Beginner edition is equipped to design and print 1D barcodes, which is the traditional style of barcode that is commonly associated with barcodes. Beginner is included with all of our ID systems.
If you require printing a distinct barcode on a single side of the card, it is recommended to purchase a dual-sided badge printer to generate a substantial barcode that can be effortlessly scanned by the barcode scanner, minimizing the need for excessive effort.
Easy Badges Standard edition is required. Beginner only includes the ability to print 1D "classic" barcodes, while QR codes are considered 2D.
