This is a Fargo 084500 Retransfer film. The Holographic Film will replace the Retransfer Film and includes a Holographic image which will be visible on the completed card. The HDP 5600 is a reverse transfer ribbon which requires a separate ribbon to print on the cards.

This Retransfer Film will print up to 500 cards on one side, or 250 cards on both sides. When printing with a Resin Black panel, the printer will typically use a separate panel for the color and the Resin Black. In that case, this Retransfer Film may only print 250 single sided cards or 175 double sided cards with color on the front and black only on the back of the cards.

This ribbon is for a retransfer printer, which initially prints the image onto a film ribbon, then transfers the film onto the card. For this reason, there is no overlay panel on the dye film ribbon because the transfer film acts as an overlay panel.
