MA100YMCKO Ultra Magicard YMCKO Dye Film

The Magicard MA100YMCKO ribbon is typically used to print on one side of an ID card. The ribbon will print 100 cards with full color on one side of the card. If this ribbon is used to print color on the front of a card and black on the back, it will only print 50 cards. Likewise, this card may be used to print color on both sides of the card, but will only print 50 cards in this manner.

The ribbon consists of a Yellow panel, Magenta panel, Cyan panel, Black Resin panel and a clear overcoat panel. It will print 100 one-sided color cards or 50 double-sided prints. If color is to be printed on the front and only black on the back side, use the Magicard MA250YMCKOK ribbon instead.

Note: When printing barcodes on the cards, we recommend ensuring the card design software is using the resin black to print the barcode. Some card design software will use a composite black (made by mixing the Yellow, Magenta and Cyan). Composite black barcodes can sometimes be harder to read depending on the barcode scanner used.

Note: Video shows Rio Pro printer being loaded with Magicard MA100YMCKO ribbon but the process is the same for Enduro and Pronto printers.
