The Magicard Rio Pro Secure ID badge printer is the perfect solution for banks, credit unions, and retailers  to instantly issue credit cards, debit cards, payment cards, and gift cards. The Rio Pro Secure has locking hoppers on both the output card hopper and the ribbon cartridge lid that will assure only authorized users can access the printer, cards, and used ribbon with imprinted card information. With a growing number of banks stepping away from embossed cards and towards instant issuance, this credit card printer will keep your customers happy.

The Rio Pro also features Holokote technology that is unique to Magicard. HoloKote is a security watermark can be printed across the card surface without any need for additional supplies. This feature is a great substitiute over more expensive laminating printer options. A choice of 4 generic HoloKote images and 1 generic HoloKote Flex (“Flexible” image placement) designs are selectable from the printer driver. For added security, the Custom HoloKote option (ordered separately) enables customization of the watermark to a custom logo or security image of your choice.
