P-640-HA Farpointe Data Patagonia Proximity Reader and Keypad
The P-640-HA Proximity Reader is from Farpointe Data’s Pyramid Series, which is at the top of its class when it comes to 125-kHz proximity readers, tags, and cards. The superior P-640-HA reader uses the proven radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and will read up to 7 inches away. The P-640-HA is ideal for higher security applications that require both a card and a PIN with its back-lit keypad for additional security. The P-640-HA belongs to the Pyramid series which complies with the Wiegand communication protocol therefore is equipped to handle many and most electronic access control systems. The P-640-HA offers features such as MAXSecure (Integrated High-Security Technology) and fleaPower (Energy-Conservation Technology). In addition to those features the P-640-HA Proximity Readers are passive devices which in turn eliminates maintenance by requiring zero batteries.
Uses the US single-gang wall-box mount. The P-640-HA includes both white and black snap-on covers as well as a back-lit key pad for visibility.
All of the P-640 Models, which you can find below, will offer the above features as well. The one thing that the P-640-HA offers that the others do not is full support for Pyramid cards and tags, select AWID 125-kHz Prox Cards and Tags, as well as HID H10301 125-kHz proximity cards and tags.
