P-710 Farpointe Data Andes Proximity Reader
The P-710 Proximity Reader is from Farpointe Data’s Pyramid Series, which is at the top of its class when it comes to 125-kHz proximity readers, tags, and cards. The premium P-710 reader uses the proven radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and is a medium range of up to 15 inches away. With the heightened level of RFID technology making the read range up to 15 inches, the P-710 is ideal for high-volume employee entrances, parking garages, turnstiles, and many more applications. The P-710 belongs to the Pyramid series which complies with the Wiegand communication protocol therefore is equipped to handle many and most electronic access control systems. The P-710 offers features such as MAXSecure (Integrated High-Security Technology) and fleaPower (Energy-Conservation Technology). In addition to those features the P-710 Proximity Readers are passive devices which in turn eliminates maintenance by requiring zero batteries.
Uses the US single-gang wall-box mount. The P-710 includes both white and black snap-on covers.
All of the P-710 Models, which you can find below, will offer the above features as well. The P-710 offers full support for Pyramid cards and tags only.
P-710-A – Compatible with Pyramid Series Prox Cards and Tags as well as select AWID 125-kHz Prox Cards and Tags.
P-710-H – Compatible with Pyramid Series Prox Cards and Tags, as well as select HID 125-kHz Prox Cards and Tags.
P-710-HA – Compatible with Pyramid Series Proximity Cards and Tags, select AWID 125-kHz Prox Cards and Tags, as well as select HID 125-kHz Prox Cards and Tags.
