Temperature Screening Terminal with Ultra Face Recognition
This temperature screening terminal is designed for highly accurate and quick temperature readings. Those readings can then be correlated to an employee through the included facial recognition features. Remote monitoring from a computer and email/text notifications are included with the free iVMS4200 version of the management software. For managing multiple terminals simultaneously or to run detailed reports, Hikcentral management software is needed at an additional charge. Contact us for a quote. Q.Is is both Mac and PC compatible?
A. Yes, both.
Q. What access cards will the kiosk accept for access control purposes?
A. Only Mifare. It will utilize the card’s CSN.
Q. Can this connect via a wireless internet connection?
A. No. This is Ethernet only.
Q. How many software versions are there?
A. Two, iVMS-4200 and HikCentral. The free included one is IVMS-4200. This is a free software package that is downloaded from our product page. This solution can work great with the thermal solution. The IVMS-4200 provides the flexibility of adding multiple locations onto a single system. The downside to IVMS-4200 is that if you want to add IVMS to the PC they will have to copy the set up from the original IVMS-4200 and load it on to the PC with the settings. Or you will have to manually add each device into the computer. The other drawback is that there is no global management of each IVMS-4200. Meaning any changes will have to be done at the PC level.
The second software solution is HikCentral. HikCentral is our enterprise level solution that is managed from a single location. With this software the administrators can make changes to the system including setting and individuals permissions from anywhere around the world and those changes automatically get pushed down to everyone’s PC. The other big advantage is the health monitoring and reporting. Through HikCentral we offer health monitoring of all of the Hikvision devices connected to HikCentral. Also, for the cameras with analytics, such as the thermal cameras, we offer business intelligence which provides usible charts and data for the client through HikCentral. The downside is that HikCentral is a pay to play application. With HikCentral you will always need to start with a base license. This base license comes in 4 channel all the way up to 300 channel base packages. Within the base packages there are two options when it comes to how you would like to receive the software. The first is that Hikvision provides the server with HikCentral pre-loaded. The second option is that we provide the software only that you would load on a client’s server. Once you have the base license squared away we have different modules depending on what you would like to accomplish. These modules can be added anytime to the HikCentral solution.
